IT program for kids
In IT courses, children will learn how to make up websites, work with graphic editors, create games, model 3D objects and program. All knowledge can be immediately put into practice. In the course of creating their own projects, students will gain teamwork skills, improve their soft skills, learn how to plan and achieve goals.

Who are the programs for?

For children
8-9 years old
The child will learn how to work with text and graphic editors, learn how to create animated videos. He will be able to prepare presentations, as well as gain programming skills and even master the control of a virtual robot.
For school children
10-11 years old
The child will get acquainted with computer technologies, programming, the Internet, and network security. He will create his own games and 2D / 3D characters for them, LEGO robots and gadgets on Arduino.
For teenagers
12-14 years old
Our students create technical projects from scratch and develop professional gaming applications, websites and their own startups. All these knowledge and skills will be useful to the child in the future, no matter what specialty he chooses.

Programming in Python
Programming is one of the main areas that will be relevant and in demand in the future. We help our students learn programming from scratch.
Design your own game
Our students will learn how to create games in Unity, Kodu and Construct 3, as well as develop design and animation for their own 2D and 3D projects.
Programming artificial intelligence and creating robots
In the classroom, children learn to program, assemble and test robots, create and manage artificial intelligence.
Create websites and mobile applications
Learn to create websites using one of the most popular CMS Wordpress. Will design the logic of a smartphone application, use sensors in the application: accelerometer, gyroscope, QR-code scanner.
3D modeling and 3D printing
Students will learn how to model 3D objects and learn how to create characters and locations. Learn the principles of 3D printing and preparing an object for printing on a 3D printer.

How many children are in the group?

There are no more than 14 students in a group.

How can I try the children's computer courses?

You can sign up for open events for children that we organize. There your child will try himself in different areas of IT.

What construction sets and gadgets do you use at Junior Computer Academy?

Children work with modern computers, Arduino boards, LEGO Mindstorms Education EV3 set, and also use 3D printers and chroma key

What should I do if my child misses a lesson?

The lesson can be practiced with another group. Also, the child can do it on their own through the MyStat platform, where the record is stored (it is not), homework and all related materials for the lesson. In addition, you will have the opportunity to take an individual lesson with a teacher at STEP IT Institute (paid separately).

Is it possible to change the schedule of training in computer courses for children?

Yes, if there is a group for programming courses for children on other days and times.

What documents are needed to conclude a contract for IT courses for children?

To sign up, you will need to submit the Emirates ID copy/passport copy of the customer. If the customer is below 18 years old, you will need to submit the parent's Emirates ID copy/passport copy as well.

Is homework required?

Homework is practice. They need to be completed in order to consolidate the material covered and receive feedback. If there are difficulties with the task for independent work, you can always ask the teachers for help. They will definitely help you sort out the issue.
